SeniorNet is an international, volunteer organization founded in 1986. It is the world’s largest training organization for adults 50 and over. SeniorNet’s mission is to provide seniors with education in and access to computer technology. It has Learning Centers throughout the United States.

SeniorNet at FSL, L.I. established the first learning center on Long island in Huntington in 1999. We established a center in East Yaphank in 2009. We are recognized as one of the leading learning centers in the country, having received numerous national recognition awards and local government proclamations. Our site sponsor at both locations is Family Service League, one of the leading human resource organizations on Long Island.

We have a broad curriculum, with courses serving absolute beginners, sophisticated users, and everyone in between. In addition to educating seniors, we are involved in many community outreach programs. We have refurbished and donated more than 5,000 PCs to charities across Long Island. We also courses over the Internet for home bound students.
