iPhone and iPad: What’s Next? – 4 sessions of 2.5 hours: $45

You’ve learned the basics, now it’s time to have some fun! You’ll learn about various apps for Games & Entertainment; more of the native apps that make using the device fun and easy including Siri, the virtual assistant; all about iCloud, backup and sharing between devices; and Music, including streaming and radio apps.

In this course we will teach you everything you need to know to be able to take basic knowledge to the next level in using this incredible device.

It is highly recommended that you take the Intro to iPhone or Intro to iPad courses as a pre-requisite.

Bring your iPhone or iPad to class with your Apple ID log-in information (email & Apple password).

Lesson 1 – Advanced Apps

In this class you’ll learn how to use Siri, the Clock app (aka the most expensive digital timer in my kitchen), what are Notifications and Widgets, and more than the basics in the Map app.

Lesson 2 – Games & Entertainment

Time to enjoy your iPhone or iPad.  We’ll show you various apps for games and entertainment, including games to work your brain like Bridge, Scrabble, trivia and more.  Learn how to watch TV and Videos using services, which you are already paying for, and some additional ones for free.  We will look at how to find apps that might appeal to other interests and talents you already have.

Lesson 3 – iCloud

What is this mysterious iCloud, what does it do and how does it help me? All will be answered in this lesson about storage, backing up and sharing between devices.

Lesson 4 – Music

RU a music fan? Want to have it at the ready. Learn to listen to music via various apps including radio, streaming music (Apple Music, Pandora, Spotify …) and more.
