In short, this course will teach you everything you need to know to be able to use this incredible device.
Lesson 1 – Basic Settings and Operation
In this first class, you will get the basics of how to operate your iPhone and the settings that will help it become most useful to you. You will learn how to move and delete icons, several ways to make phone calls, send text messages, and set up your contacts.
Lesson 2: Great Apps
Apps are what put the “smart” in smartphone. In this session, you will learn how to use the apps that come pre-installed on the iPhone, and how to search for, download and manage some of the many apps that are available. You’ll also see demonstrations of some of the best apps available.
Lesson 3: The iPhone Camera
When world-famous photographer Annie Leibovitz was asked in an interview what kind of camera people should buy, she responded, “An iPhone.” This workshop will help explain why she said that. Ease of use is one reason. Another is that editing your photos right on the phone has become so easy that great pictures are easy to create. You will learn how to share pictures with friends and family and explore some of the great Apps for taking pictures, correcting and enhancing them.
Lesson 4: More Settings, iCloud and Music
You will delve deeper into the settings on your phone, learn what iCloud can mean to you, and hear your iPhone as a portable music player.
Lesson 5: Review
The final session will be a review based on your interests, where you can work with the teacher and the coaches to better master the course material.
