Zoom: Host a Family Holiday Party – Online

This course is appropriate for Mac and PC users.

Hosting a virtual family meeting via Zoom is a great way to avoid social-distancing challenges during the holiday season and any other time of the year for that matter. This class introduces you to Zoom themes which can set the mood to liven up gatherings.

• We’ll also discuss sharing photos and videos during your Zoom meetings: another crowd-pleaser.
• Additional topics are sharing screens and files; virtual backgrounds, virtual gift exchange, and how to work around the Basic Zoom forty-minute meeting time limit.
• Included are holiday themes (e.g. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year’s) virtual backgrounds, cartoons, memes, and video links to share at your Zoom party. These files will be available via Dropbox before class begins.
• In addition, a Zoom tutorial will be emailed to attendees, so they can follow along during the webinar as well as learn how to access Dropbox.
• This class is intended for people who have Basic Zoom accounts and have some experience hosting Zoom meetings.
